Preparing for Your Delivery

Before We Arrive

  • Make sure an adult, 18 years or older, will be present to accept & sign.
  • Ensure a clear path from the street to the residence entrance (e.g. clear of ice, snow debris, etc).
  • Ensure the inside of the home has an accessible path (e.g. move furniture, toys, pets, etc.)
  • Please check the measurements to make sure access will be available.
  • If your delivery includes Haul-away, please ensure that the unit you would like removed is disconnected from water, gas and electrical connections, clean on the outside, dry on the inside and completely empty of all contents. If Laundry, the unit must not be stacked. If this is not completed, Haul Away will be declined and will not be rescheduled.

Will It Fit?

  • Delivery is subject to reasonable access to the area without damaging the purchaser's property or the product, or jeopardizing the safety of the delivery personnel.
  • In the event suitable access is not available, the delivery agent reserves the right to terminate delivery for a refund or change the service to Threshold.

During the Delivery

  • Please inspect your item(s). You will be required to sign a Proof of Delivery receipt.
  • Please note any damage to the item or packaging on the delivery receipt or, if refusing delivery due to damage, please note “refused due to damage” on this receipt.
  • For Your Safety, For In-Home Services, Our Teams Cannot:
    • Remove their shoes, but will act with the utmost care to protect your home and merchandise.
    • Lift or hoist merchandise over banisters, countertops or other obstructions, or through windows to complete a delivery.
    • Perform carpentry, electrical or plumbing work or install trim kits for appliances.

Shipping Information

Where is My Shipment?

Your Ship Confirmation email includes a “Track” button. Once clicked you should be brought to the Carrier tracking landing page.

If the carrier tracking landing page does not provide you with the status you need, give the carrier a call at their toll free number and they will gladly assist you.

Delivery Appointment Not Scheduled?

If you were not able to schedule your appointment during the checkout process, someone from the carrier will contact you to book your appointment once ready.

What is the Shipping Method?

Each item sold on Costco.ca has its own shipping methods and delivery terms. The information specific to each product can be located on the product page on Costco.ca under “Shipping & Returns.”
