A5 Japanese Wagyu is known for its uniquely extreme taste, tenderness, and marbling. Japanese recommend cooking method is a pre-heated cast iron pan, searing steak on both sides and cooked to preferred doneness. Cooking to 130° F/54°C to release the exquisite flavors is suggested. Product is packaged using a very high quality packaging product referred to as “Darfresh”.
 
Dafresh packaging allows for extended shelf life with no freezer burn.  The product is vacuum sealed, removing all oxygen and air from the product. With this procedure, the products can be stored in a freezer, and are  safe to consume within 18 to 24 months. If stored in a refrigerator after receipt, the product is safe to consume within 14-21 days, as long as the product has always remained in a chilled state and a constant temperature  in refrigeration remains at 1 degree Celsius. 
 
Please note: when the oxygen is removed from the meat, it causes the meat to slightly darken in color (resulting in the meat looking less red and/or pink). However, after the packaging is opened, the product will  bloom” and color will appear.

Instruction for members upon receiving product:

• Open immediately upon arrival
• Packing should be intact (no damaged seal, leaks, etc.)
• Product should be refrigerated immediately upon receiving
