A-5 Japanese Wagyu Rib Roast 2.3 kg (5 lb), specially imported from Japan.

A-5 Japanese Wagyu is known for its uniquely extreme taste, tenderness, and marbling. The exquisite snowflake-like marbling produces a buttery, nongreasy flavor that melts in your mouth, resulting in the highest degree of beef indulgence imaginable.

The Japanese recommend using a pre-heated cast iron pan and searing the steak on both sides - cooked to the preferred doneness. Cooking to 130°F (54°C) is suggested to release the exquisite flavors. A5 Japanese Wagyu can also be used for yakiniku, Korean BBQ, shabu-shabu, and sashimi.

Product is packaged using a very high quality packaging product referred to as “Darfresh”.

Dafresh packaging allows for extended shelf life with no freezer burn. The product is vacuum sealed, removing all oxygen and air from the product. With this procedure, the products can be stored in a freezer, and are safe to consume within 24 months. If stored in a refrigerator after receipt, the product is safe to consume within 14-21 days, as long as the product has always remained in a chilled state and a constant temperature in refrigeration remains at 1 degree Celsius.

Please note: when the oxygen is removed from the meat, it causes the meat to slightly darken in color (resulting in the meat looking less red and/or pink). However, after the packaging is opened, the product will bloom” and color will appear.

Packing should be intact (no damaged seal, leaks, etc.)
Product should be refrigerated immediately upon receiving
