Typically used for grating, Piave is a hard, cooked PDO cheese made from the finest quality raw materials, without colouring or preservatives. The PDO cheese comes from the province of Belluno, the most northern part of the Veneto region in north-eastern Italy.
Piave is distinguished by its flavour: sweet and intense, never spicy, with a full aroma reminiscent of Alpine herbs and flowers.
